Embrace your adventurous side with a trip to beautiful Italy! Though we started Cycle Bella Italia because we love to ride, our trips are more than spending time on the bicycle. Aside from the hilly landscapes of the Val d’ Orcia and the vineyards famous for producing Chianti, Brunello and Vino Nobile, Tuscany is known for its traditions, history and rich art history.
Of course you can visit Italy before or after your tour with Cycle Bella Italia. We encourage all of our riders to experience the wealth of cultural heritage that Tuscany, Lake Como and all of Italy have to offer.
Can I Bring My Own Bike?
Riders on our trips may bring their own bikes or rent a bike through us. We have Wilier and DeRosa carbon bikes available for rent. And if you so choose, we can arrange a bike with electronic shifting.
Are the Roads in Italy Well Maintained?
As with any roads, the roads in Italy see the effects of adverse weather conditions and the wear and tear of agricultural vehicles. The roads are generally smooth but tend to be narrow. Nevertheless, the residents of Italy are very kind and respectful of cyclists sharing the roads.
